I’m a designer from Trinidad and Tobago, available to work on challenging projects and fun collaborations.
Thanks for visiting my website.
This page will let you know a bit about who I am and how I work, but I’m also trying to keep a decent journal on Instagram and updates on progress with Python and code things on GitHub
Here’s the rundown:
I design brand identities, type, websites, and other very cool things.
Most of my working time is spent designing for fresh brands and new products on tight budgets. I prefer collaborating with nimble, open-minded clients, through transparent, flexible processes.
I prefer common sense over convention, and think that if something works, it works. Simple as that.
The best solutions will challenge both my client and me, and that’s okay. Good design is about solving problems, kicking ass and taking names later. It's best to do that as a team.
I believe that good business should be based on transparency, fairness and honesty. I don’t work for or with assholes.
Off-time is key. I believe that there should always be opportunities for learning, talking, taking a break and stepping away from project work. In keeping with this, I dedicate a significant portion of my working time to experimentation and self-generated work. This means that I may not be available to work on projects sometimes, but I can always recommend you to another strong, capable designer.
About rates: I charge a standard TTD$500, regardless of the task. This may not be for everyone (you often get what you pay for with graphic design) but don't feel daunted: there’s some room for negotiation, especially if you've got a fun or socially progressive project.
