Design Objective

I'm a co-founder of Design Objective, Trinidad's first and only professional graphic design organisation, focused on workshops, talks, membership and improving the wider Caribbean's design landscape. I took lead on the development of DO's identity and the first round of its website design. I'm currently working on the second release of a more powerful website that can manage our new membership and events databases. I also share responsibility for promotional and event design.

Crispy Solutions

Crispy Solutions deploys high-end web and mobile services, and needed to find a way to distinguish themselves from the (very saturated) market of general-service website and app developers. I developed a custom variable font for this project (aptly called CRISPY), and worked using Python and Drawbot to produce iterations for animation, and to produce individualised, random-instance business cards with dynamically-generated wordmarks. I'm currently working on their website, which makes use of the font's width axes in ways that aren't possible with print.

I'd love to work with you.

The St. Kitts & Nevis Citizen 2018

Editorial design, art direction and custom type design for The St. Kitts and Nevis Citizen, a government-published magazine created by OPEN Interactive, aimed and increasing citizenship-by-investment. Special highlights on this project included the direction of photography and creation of custom typographic elements inspired by Kittitian colonial-style architecture.

Eleanor Street Studios

Identity for a full-service, high-end music production studio in Trinidad. Special emphasis was made to reflect a dynamic company that could respond to any kind of work —especially important in Trinidad, a country dominated by genre-specific production studios.

Seeking Amani

While at Abovegroup, I led the design for Seeking Amani – a school-based workshop in Tanzania that helps children to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their community and the wider environment.
